I wouldn't recommend it. You'd be much better off, and safer  to use actual jewelry cleaning solution.

What should be the best solution for cleaning aluminium or stainless fuel (or hydraulic) filter from aircraft? Is MC-3 suitable? Are there solutions used in aerospace industry?

MC-3 is the preferred solution for nearly all of our aviation custoemers becasue: biodegradable, emulsifier (holds soils in solution), aluminum safe, re-usable.

When mixing with water to achieve desired diluation, does it matter if it is tap water or should it be deionized water?

Not really, unless your application calls for deionized water. It's worth noting though, that if you use tap water you get whatever is in the water in your area.

What affects does it have with aluminum chromate conversion coated parts?

We don't have that data. Usually, people figure this out by experimenting with scrap parts or samples.

Hi, it is safe to use it on anodized and alodinized aluminium pieces?

Yes, it is. However, you should always use caution when cleaning aluminum with ultrasonics, due to the possibility of etching or damaging the finish. We recommend that you try it out on a scrap piece first, just to be certain that no damage results.
